1. How long is your delivery term?
Our standard product delivery term is normally 30-60 days. Some of our conventional models are available in inventory. You can email us to learn more details.
2. Where is your port of shipment located?
Our main port of shipment is the Shanghai port, and we may operate at other ports if required by the customer.
3. We are very concerned about the packaging of bearings and we would like to learn more about it.
HISUN provides a variety of secure and cost-efficient packaging solutions to insure the most essential protection and preservation of our products.
1.Bulk Package
2.Roll or Plastic tube Package
- Individual Box: Each bearing is placed in an individual plastic bag or plastic-faced brown paper and then placed in individual boxes. Each box can be labeled with information per customer's request.
Other types of packaging will be considered per customer's request.
4. I couldn¨t find a design to fit my application in your catalog. Can you help me design a custom bearing?
Yes, technical expertise is available to assist you with engineering design for custom products. Available options include, but are not limited to, custom rings, retainers, balls, shields, lubricants, and packaging. We look forward to working with you to satisfy your rotary motion requirements.
5. Is optional lubrication provided?
HISUN BEARINGS offers a wide range of oils and greases for a variety of applications. Please contact our engineer for technical assistance with any special requirements.
6. What causes bearing noise?
Bearing noise is a function of both the bearing and the way it is used. Some external factors that affect bearing noise include lubricant type, excessive bearing load, and improper installation. Once the abnormal noise occurred, you can contact our engineers, we will help you find the reasons and provide the appropriate solutions.
7. What is the difference between using a shield or a seal as a ball bearing closure?
Shields or seals are often installed to retain lubricant and to prevent contamination from entering the bearing. While a shield contacts the outer ring and does not come in contact with the inner ring, the seal generally comes in contact with both the inner and outer rings. Torque or drag is lower with a shield than with a seal. Alternately, the seal provides a higher degree of protection from contamination. Shields and seals are available in a variety of materials and configurations.
Please contact a HISUN engineer for technical assistance with any special requirements.
8. What factors increase or decrease bearing torque?
Factors that increase bearing torque include:
- Increased number of balls in the bearing
- Tight crimp ribbon retainer
- Tight radial play
- High lubricant viscosity
- High lube fill in the bearing
- High applied bearing load
Factors that decrease bearing torque include:
- Fewer balls in the bearing
- Crown type or loose crimp retainer
- Loose radial play
- Low lubricant viscosity
- Low lube fill in the bearing
- Low applied bearing load
